Ag+Tech
fabric technology creates an invisible shield on fabric that helps people keeping
away from bacteria throughout the day.

The mechanism of action involves the release of silver ions from its
inorganic cage matrix through an ion-exchange process. The silver ions can then
interact with microbes to disrupt their cellular functions, thereby inhibiting
the growth of microbial colonies.

The active ingredient in Ag+Tech fabric is a durable,
non-migratory silver based antimicrobial additive pre-spun into the fiber. This
additive has been proven to be highly effective in the laboratory against a
wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and algae. Testing
undertaken by Intertek with
reference to AATCC 100 standard
has also demonstrated that Ag+Tech antimicrobial fabric when in contact with bacteria can instantly reduce 99.9% of Staphylococcus aureus and 99.9% of
Klebsiella pneumonia
respectively after 24 hours, a significant reduction and a very
credible evidence of their effective anti-bacterial property.
